Euro Rally Challenge 2009 Regulations

Article 1: Registration

The Euro Rally Challenge allows drivers from all countries to participate if they have a valid license. Sign up for the Euro Rally Challenge 2009 can be achieved only through e-mail via the registration form.
The registration form fuly completed should be sent back to the cup coordinator Bart Hissink: bart@eurorallychallenge.eu

The closing date for registration is March 1, 2009

Article 2: Calendar

The following events count for the Euro Rally Challenge 2009:

May 22nd – 23rd | Sezoens Rally - Bocholt (BE)
June 12th – 13th | Thüringen Rallye - Pössneck (DE)
July 03rd – 04th | Rally del Casentino - Bibbiena (IT)
September 04th – 05th | KDAK Rally - Odense (DK)
September 18th – 19th | Hellendoorn Rally - Hellendoorn (NL)
October 02nd – 04th | Rallye Le Touquet Pas-de-Calais - Touquet (FR)

Article 3: Entry fee

The entry fee is set at 300 Euros per team and is seen as a guarantor. Each team who has complied with Article 7 of this regulation will receive the entry fee back at the end of the year. The registration is only valid after the entry fee is received on behalf 14.04.72.916 payable to Stichting Rallysport Markelo.

Article 4: Points

The score is based on the order of the Euro Rally Challenge participants in their group. Points are divided in group A (including WRC), N, R, GT and H. All results count for the final result.

1st place = 10 points
2nd place = 8 points
3rd place = 6 points
4th place = 5 points
5th place = 4 points
6th place = 3 points
7th place = 2 points
8th place = 1 point

By the same number of points in the final of a group, the team with the most rallies driven will be placed highest. If there is still an equal result, the number of 1st places count, then the number of 2nd places, and so on.

Article 5: Prizes

The organizer of the rally provides one price per three teams participating in a group. The season concludes with a huge celebration party, in which the winners will be rewarded with cups and prizes in kind.

Article 6: Advertising

The organization of the Euro Rally Challenge reserves the right to claim space on the cars on behalf of its sponsors.

Article 7: Exclusion

Replacement of the first driver is not permitted. Only the second driver and the registered car can be replaced. Participants are expected to drive all rallies of the ERC calendar. Participants who miss more than one rally of the ERC calendar will be excluded. This exclusion takes place after the second rally has been missed. They are not eligible for a refund of the entry fee and will not be invited to the celebration party on the end of the year.
